In musical improv, the whole show is made up on the spot, songs included. If you've ever wanted to sing in a scene, or you're scared to and want to try anyway, this class is for you.
Over six weeks you'll learn how to sing a scene without overthinking it. We'll cover simple song structures, rhyming on the fly, following the music, heightening a scene through song, and knowing when to break into song and when to hold off. You don't need singing experience. Commitment matters more than pitch.
Every session is mostly on your feet, with direct notes from the instructor. After the final class, you'll perform in a live showcase for friends, family and the public.
